Caffè Vita

Caffè Vita started brewing in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood in 1995 with a simple idea: keep coffee honest. No gimmicks, no middlemen—just small-batch roasting, strong farmer relationships, and coffee that actually tastes like where it came from. Long before “direct trade” was a buzzword, we were flying to farms, shaking hands, and bringing back beans Seattle was ready for!

Over the years, Vita grew from one café into a beloved Seattle staple with roasters and shops from coast to coast. In 2020, we welcomed a new chapter under local restaurateur Deming Maclise, who shares our love for bold coffee and community.

Nearly 30 years in, they are still roasting daily and working with some of the biggest names around.

We are proud to work with and serve Caffè Vita daily.

Fort George Brewing

Fort George Brewery started in 2007 with Astoria needing a good local beer. Starting from an old building downtown and crafting a beautiful large factory to brew in. The spot had lots of history, sitting on the original Fort Astoria site, so they named it Fort George.

People loved the beer, demand exploded, and the brewery quickly spread into more buildings, including an old cannery on the river. Today Fort George is one of Oregon’s biggest breweries, but still proudly Astorian.

South Fork was proud to tour the brewery and craft our own beer with their team. We created "Closed on Tuesdays IPA," and everyone loves it! It's a fitting name, as we are, in fact, closed on Tuesdays.

Bale Breaker Brewing Co.

Bale Breaker Brewing Company is proof that beer can come full circle and stay in the family! The Smith family has been growing hops in the Yakima Valley since 1932, long before craft beer was even a thing. After decades of sending hops off to breweries around the world, three siblings — Meghann, Kevin “Smitty,” and Patrick (plus Meghann’s husband Kevin Quinn) decided to keep some of those hops close to home. They had history of working with beer and brewing small batches but, this was going to be epic.

In 2013, they built a brewery right in the middle of their family’s hop fields, surrounded by rows of Cascades. The name “Bale Breaker” nods to their history of sending out hop bales, now “broken” to make beer themselves. Today, Bale Breaker is one of the Northwest’s fastest-growing breweries, truly farm-to-glass.

As big fans of their beer, South Fork was excited to partner with them to create our very own "South Fork Party Pilsner"!

Dru Bru

Dru Bru started pouring beer at Snoqualmie Pass in 2014 with one goal: make crisp, clean brews that fit mountain life. Inspired by German traditions, they focused on lagers and approachable styles meant for après-ski pints, summer hikes, and hanging out with friends in the fresh Cascades air.

The Snoqualmie taproom quickly became a stop for skiers, hikers, and road-trippers looking for great beer with alpine views. As demand grew, Dru Bru expanded to a larger production space in Cle Elum in 2021, giving them room to can and distribute while keeping the pass location alive as their heart and hangout.

Our collaboration with Dru Bru started in a unique way. South Fork didn't have any bottled or canned water, and we were looking for a local company to help us can both still and sparkling water. As a true 'Cascades original' dedicated to community, Dru Bru was the perfect fit. This project marked the beginning of our partnership.

Royal Family Farming

Royal Family Farming has been growing in Royal City, Washington, since 1962. It all started when Wells Allred and his wife Loriol moved their family west with one goal: farm in a way that cared for the land and the people around them.

Today, the farm grows a mix of dairy, beef, potatoes, corn, fruit, and honey. But it’s not just about the size, they work hard to recycle and reuse. Leftover crops feed the animals, manure goes back into the soil, and they even have a worm farm to turn waste into compost.

Their newest project, “The Soil Center,” takes orchard and packing waste and turns it into healthy soil for the farm. Royal Family Farming shows that a big farm can still care about animals, the land, and the community — all while making good, healthy food.

South Fork makes it a priority to work with farms like Royal Ranch and we want to bring the highest quality product to the table as we can. Knowing where and how the animals are raised matters so much when bringing things fresh farm to table.

Farm Among Us

We are proud to partner with our friend, Scott, from Farm Among Us. A dedicated hard worker and a passionate advocate for small farms, Scott is a true community builder. He actively organizes plant shows and events, bringing people together to strengthen our local food system and get fresher produce to tables faster.

Scott, a former UPS driver, now runs his farm in Fall City, just 15 minutes from South Fork. He provides us with an incredible selection of fresh, seasonal vegetables and other crops that inspire our chef and elevate our menu. This partnership allows us to change our offerings throughout the year, celebrating the peak flavors of each season.

At the heart of Farm Among Us is a deep respect for the land. Scott emphasizes soil health as the foundation for healthy plants, utilizing no-till and human-scale farming methods. His work aims to regenerate the land while producing food that truly nourishes the body and the community.
